The I Am Poem

I am trustworthy and fun to be around

i wonder why people act the way they do

I hear the announcer screaming my name while i run with the ball

I see the shinning light on the field while i run in to take my position

I want to understand why people leave the one's they love

I am trustworthy and fun to be around

I pretend to be somewhere peaceful to forget about my worries

I feel the pain others feel not having a father at arms length

I touch the ball and im happy, my worries go away!

I worry about what the future holds for me

I cry when I think of my dad being 300 and something miles away

I am trustworthy and fun to be around

I understand the way people feel and i try to help

I say i don't care when i really do

I dream about being the best at what i do

I try to do my best in every subject

I hope to be happy and successful one day
